Does Artviva operate tours on holidays and weekends?

Yes, we run tours seven days a week, including holidays, to make your Italian adventure as flexible as possible.  

Can I bring my own food and drinks on the tour?

Yes, feel free to bring along your own refreshments. However, remember that part of the Artviva experience is to immerse yourself in the real Italy, and we’ll be happy to recommend local delicacies. No food or drinks are allowed in many museums. You may have to return to the cloak room of the museum which can take quite some time. What can I bring on a museum or art gallery tour in Italy? 

Many museums have security screening now-so just as on a plane- -no unfoldable big umbrellas -no big backpacks -no bottles of water over 50cl -no canned food  -no knives or weapons If you do have one or more of these items, tell your guide so that you can check your things into the cloakroom before the tour starts.

Can I buy tickets on the day of the tour, or should I book in advance?

What if I am late or miss the tour?

If you are late or miss the tour, unfortunately, the tour cost cannot be refunded. We’ll do our best to accommodate you on another tour, but availability cannot be guaranteed due to high demand.

We accept all major credit cards, as well as PayPal and bank transfers, for your convenience.  

Is there a dress code for the tour?

Does Artviva offer child fares?

Depending on the tour, we offer discounted rates for children.  

What is Artviva’s policy on late arrivals and no-shows?

If you arrive late or fail to show up, we can’t guarantee that you’ll be able to join the tour or reschedule. We strongly advise arriving at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the tour.  

What is the maximum number of people in a group tour?

The maximum number varies depending on the specific tour, but we always aim to keep our groups small to ensure a high-quality, intimate experience.  

Can I join the tour if I have mobility issues?

Yes, we strive to accommodate all guests. If you have mobility issues, please let us know at the time of booking so we can make the necessary arrangements. In some cases parts of the tour may not be suitable.
