Emilia Romagna is one of the most important culinary regions of Italy.

The region is famous for some of the best known Italian dishes and ingredients around the world, such as lasagne and Pasta Bolognese (Locally know as Tagliatelle al ragu), Balsamico di Modena and Prosciutto di Parma (Parma ham)

Emilia-Romagna’s Capital is Bologna, also known as the red city for its red roofs and leftist population.

Next to fantastic cities, the region is filled with small pleasant towns, often hiding a ton of little (or big) secrets. A famous town as such is Faenza, city of ceramics.
