From astronomical studies to early tools of timekeeping, each stop on this tour highlights a unique aspect of Renaissance scientific discovery.

The Intersection of Science and Faith

A central theme of this tour is the complex relationship between science and religion during the Renaissance. Marvel at Florence’s Revolutionary Instruments and Ideas

Along the tour, you’ll see representations of scientific progress: instruments that measured the stars, devices that redefined time, and markers that brought celestial phenomena down to earth. While many of these tools were crafted to serve both scientific and religious purposes, they ultimately contributed to groundbreaking shifts in thought. From early telescopes to intricate timepieces, these instruments showcase Florence’s role as a hub of Renaissance innovation.

End at the Museum of Galileo for an Unforgettable Experience
