  1. Heather Pigott

Our family of five had a private tour with Irena and she was fantastic. So knowledgeable but also very relatable – the whole family loved her. My teenage boys were not exactly looking forward to another tour but Irena kept their attention

  2. Karon Ferrara

We booked a private tour for a group of four because we didn’t have enough time to do separate tours and were in Florence over a Monday when many museums are closed. Molly, our guide, held degrees in art history, so she was perfect for the task. She led us through the Uffizzi Gallery and Academia to see Michelangelo’s David. Her expertise made it worth every penny. This is my fifth time to use ArtViva tours. I wouldn’t risk choosing another company because these guides have been so knowledgable.

  3. Stephen Sherman

Our guide Carlotta was very knowledgeable and a fantastic leader. She strung together exhibits with common themes and interesting back stories. In 4 hours we were able to experience much of the Uffizi, the Accademia and other sites of interest in Florence. She introduced us to an historical family of jewelers on the Ponte Vecchio who showed us their incredible studio. We had a fantastic tour and can’t wait to go back to spend more time with Carlotta

  4. Anne Collins

ArtViva organised a bespoke “Highlights of Florence” tour for us at very short notice in peak season, but we still had the privilege of being guided around the Uffizi, the Academia and the Medici Chapels with local Florentine, Carlotta. Carlotta’s love of Florence, it’s history and the cultural richness it holds was infectious. We learnt a lot and will be asking for Carlotta when we are back!

  5. Misha Liang

Alex was a wonderful tour guide. He was full of knowledge and answered all our questions about the city, museums, history, and art. The detail he provided was eye opening and now have a wealth of knowledge about the different eras and artists that I never knew before. Would highly recommend this tour.

  6. Alan Smith & Bruce Curnutt

Our tour guide, Laura, was wonderful. Her expertise and insights into the art masterpieces and artists provided a deeper understanding of the beautiful art. This tour made great use of the short time we had in Florence so that we could see and appreciate the best parts of what to see and do without being overwhelmed. We would highly recommend this tour.

  7. Roger Fenningdorf

Both my wife and I had been to the Uffizi and the Accademia before, but Laura brought both museums to life with deep knowledge of the artists and the history that surrounded the pieces. What a difference Laura made as we truly experienced these museums rather than just visiting them. Highly recommend Laura and ArtViva
